New Kids On The Block Just Dont Stop!

Yeah summer is here and that means one thing! The Right Stuff!! LOL. Yeah the boys from The Block are back and on tour with BSB (Bleh, NOT thier fan lol) But none the less, it means lots of custom orders for me! I have made more than 10 in the past few weeks not counting the random items I've made to list on etsy.

Now of course my fabric stash of vintage sheets has run low and I have resulted to paying a premium to buy them on ebay! Oh well, theres still lots of profit to be made. And I just love making these! I have gotten some new knit fabrics to work with and tomorrow I plan to pick up some more. Look for these up in my shop now. I even created a NKOTB section!!

Swap treasures!

So after a long wait my swap items finally arrived in the mail today! I was so excited to see all the goodies! In the birthday swap I got some beautiful jewelry, tea, fabric and buttons! Such a generous package! I love the glas bracelet and matching pendant. I already wore it!

I also got my fat quarter swap package. Here it is all wrapped up:

OMG! The fat quarters are so pretty. And all the little goodies she made me are amazing! My favorite is the little party banner. I'm going to hang it over my workspace. There is also some bean bags, pot holders, & felt photo album (so clever!) Im so exceited to go do another swap!

Tuesday Inspiration

Well it rained last night and I was taken by suprise. The dresser that I was still refinishing was outside so needless to say its a bit wet :( . But its ok because the sun is (partly) shining today! Yet Im inside at starbucks working on my blog. Feeling like I need some inspiration.....

Even though im inspiring myself with design ideas this morning, its off to the sewing table to work on some new stuff for the store!

More shabby chic decor

I have been adding more and more projects to my list and now I'm in over my head which is typical for me! Well remember that dresser I got free?

It came out so nice! I just need new handles for the top drawer. I also found some iron candleholders and did those up real quick:
