Just one of those days....
I've been busy back in the studio the last few days and things haven't been going that great. I'm having a mind block for ideas. I'm just putting too much pressure on myself. I really really want to just get things done and it feels like there's never enough time in the day. Ever have that feeling? Well on the bright side, I have a few orders for New Kids dresses and I've been making dog outfits for the Paw Spa that my daughter works at. So business is good :) I made this cute sailor pouch yesterday, along with another of my Beatles totes which will be a gift for a friend.

SF Fashion Feud
Last nights fashion feud was a ton of fun! I was very fortunate to have been chosen as one of the competitors. I came poised and confident, ready to win it! I had my design idea in mind, but with just an hour and over 100 people watching me live, I let my nerves get the best of me! Despite the loss, I still gained a ton of exposure. I was interviewd by SF Indie Fashion and a few bloggers, so U can't beat that! The judges were great and they gave me props for making seperates. I Started out making shorts and a short sleeve top, and when the shorts came up "short" I tossed them and started over. That is what cost me. I ended up making a pencil skirt and at the 15 minute mark I was finishing the top and thinking how fast the time flew by. Now I know why Im always wondering where the time went when Im sewing at home! Heres a picture of my model and I. You can check my flickr for more pics from the event, and check out http://www.sffama.com/ the organizers of the event, and sponsored by Scion. be on the lookout for my interview and others from the event at http://www.sfindiefasion.com/
